diana krall is the bravest choice. good job.

Of course nothing Chanukah but that's ok...I didn't expect it.

clem - Thanks! Diana is a great singer and I'm glad you appreciate her, too.

robin - I'm not Jewish so it would be inappropriate for me to list Chanukah songs since I don't have any exposure to them.

I'm not sure I could list 10 anyway but that was all I had to comment on it...so there you go :D

We understand your impossibility is part of your charm, Robin.

Now that I've read the list, I'm going to be singing "Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow" all day long!

It's amazing how suggesting a song, even by listing its title, can make it "play" in my mind's "tape recorder."

It's a great song, so I don't mind.

Hi Chris!

How right you are! That's the fun danger of making these lists -- you sing them all in your head first before you mark them down for publication and the price you pay is having them pour out of your pores all day long! There are worse things that could happen, I suppose!
:)

You're right that the man shouldn't matter to the music… but with Bing -- and his public persona as the genteel father figure -- compared against the abusive reality of a life set against his sons is hard to abide.

He did have a beautiful, voice, though.

As we’ve discussed before, I think the public persona against the private reality should begin to count for something and it doesn’t matter if you’re famous or not.

I'm glad you're having a fun time! I wish you a safe flight home.

What? No Christmas Wrapping by the Spice Girls?

LOVE The Boss's version of "Santa Claus Is Coming to Town"!

I think I like Dean Martin's version of "Baby, It's Cold Outisde" better than "Let It Snow."

I agree the Boss is a great talent, Carla!

"Baby, It's Cold Outside" sounds a little too tipsy for me the way Dean sings it. His "Let it Snow" is more suitable and sober.

:)

suzanne -- Akismet caught your post about the Spice Girls and identified it as Spam. Heh! How telling! :) I cleared you and Akismet should learn from its error. I will have to go check out that song. Thanks for the recommendation!

 Ah... Kismet!

Thanks for clearing me :) I am a linker.

Heh! Love that, suzanne! I love your links and you've never been caught by Akismet before until today. Strange! I guess it was the Spice Girls that gotcha.

How about Brenda Lee & Jingle Bell Rock?

You can listen to it at this site.

Hi Jerry!

You make an excellent suggestion, thanks! The link you provide doesn't appear to be working.

Thanks for the songs! I can use them in the newspaper
