I love the Boles University classic thong! :)

It's a must for all fashion conscious co-eds who want to wear hip-hugger jeans.

Hi Chris!

Yes, it's a thong for all seasons!

I think the thong is unisex, no?

I just added some "Script Professor" stuff and I’m working on other fun things and I'll even be working up some Urban Semiotic swag, too! Wah-haa!

Lol ... unisex thongs.

For some reason when I read that, it made me think of a segment from the LBJ White House tapes where the President is talking to his tailor and saying that if his pants aren't cut ust right, it feels like "riding barbed wire."

FYI: I made some corrections to the thing I emailed you last night.

Hi Chris!

I remember those LBJ tapes! Wacky! He wanted his pants cut lower and "once inch from his bung hole" or something like that. I clearly remember "bung hole" as being an important part of his request.

I have your revised piece! Thanks!!!

UPDATE:

BolesBooks swag added to the store.

Now I know why you were discussing loosing an arm and a leg ! :) :) (Joke)

Sits and waits for the Urban Semiotic Swag ................. would be quite happy with a nice little web button or icon to start with ............

Hi Nicola!

Ha! This all started as a joke! Then a few people kept bugging me about it and I gave in and had a laugh blast yesterday uploading and picking all the stuff.

Then my DSL connection went down this morning!

I'm uploading more stuff soon and if there's something you or anyone else would like to have -- let me know and I should be able to find it to create it.

I'll work on creating some web stuff you can link, too.

Is there a sizing guide anywhere on cafe press ....... UK sizes are different from USA sizes and we still work in inches for bust size etc .......

I would like a black tank top with Urban Semiotic please ........ and a 123pix by 123pix web button ............ thank you :) :)

( Dont ya just love "demanding" customers ......... smirk)

Hi Nicola!

Here's a sizing guide that should work:

http://www.vsathletics.com/page.php?xPage=sizing.html

Black is hard to do. I will work on that. Right now everything is printed on white until I figure out how to "design for black" -- they just started offering black stuff so I'll have to get up to speed.

I will work on the buttons you want!

UPDATE:

Just added stuff for "Hardcore ASL" to the site!

I'm getting better at designing the swag!

I had a sinking feeling black would be hard to do ............. for some reason black is much more "me" than white.

Look forward to the buttons :) :)

Hi Nicola!

I think we will have grey, yellow, green and pink to choose from for colors other than black for our UrbSem swag!

The buttons should be on their way soonish!

My DSL is up and down today. It's crazy-making!

UPDATE:

The Urban Semiotic swag section is now open!

Yes, there's even a Black Tee!

YEAH :) :)

goes to find credit card, conversion tables ......ohhhhhhhhhh I also like the long sleeve white t-shirt

AND - if you click on larger view - you get all the sizing details !!!!!! (DOH)

Hi Nicola!

Yeah, this has been fun to play around with all day -- what a fun task for a long holiday weekend. Spending three hours getting my DSL line back up wasn't much fun, though.

If there's something else you'd like to see up there lemme know and I'll see if I can set it up for you!

UPDATE:

I added sections to the store and renamed the whole thing: BOLES STUFF.

That makes more sense in the larger scheme of what's offered there now.

Nicola: I added a couple more black tee shirt choices in the store.

UPDATE:

You can find buttons to use on your website or blog to celebrate this blog here:

http://urbansemiotic.com/boles-info/

Black Tee with the green pic .........

have grabbed the buttons ........

Guess what I am going to say now .........?????

Umm.. I have no idea what you're going to say now.

TELL ME!

Well you know you have that nice PURPLE LOGO saying Bole's Stuff - that would look so cool on a Tshirt

(Ducks)

And of course I have to ask if that is you in the photo/Avatar ?

Oh, that's so funny!

Okay! I'll work up a couple of BOLES STUFF swag! Harr!

Yes, that's me! I'm directing a show at Rutgers and one of my students snapped that photo of me. It's a little fuzzy because I'm in motion but that's the beauty of it.

CafePress is fun!

I made a T-shirt for my son earlier this summer and he loves it.

I remember making a T-shirt when I was in elementary school using iron transfer crayons. CafePress doesn't cost much more than that and looks so much more better!

Hi Chris!

I have heard great things about Cafe Press though I haven't directly tried anything from them yet -- that's why I like the 30 Day Satisfaction Guarantee. Folks can buy and if they don't like it they can send the stuff back without harm.

My DSL is wonky today. I am hoping it will be better tomorrow so I can stay online long enough to get your new piece online!

Hi David,

The quality is decent and the shipping was very fast. If you get their emails, you can get deals every so often. It's not a bad place to set up shop because there's no risk.

Someone wanted to get T-shirts for a family reunion and I suggested she check out CafePress.

That's no fun that the DSL isn't working properly. I hope the telco is able to get it working properly even though it's a holiday weekend.

Hi Chris --

Thanks for the good information about Cafe Press.

Yeah, DSL connectivity is vital and zero fun if it's funky. It was frustrating today so I played with graphics all day for the store. I don't like to do a lot of database stuff on the blog when my connection isn't solid because can mess things up and then you can't get online again to try to recover.

The DSL is holding steadier tonight. We'll see how stable it is in the morning.

Loved the tee shirts! :D

Forgot to add...

The best thing I liked is is the green logo - the design is just brilliant!

Hi Katha!

I appreciate your feedback very much!

UPDATE:

If you go here and click on the book cover:

www.cafepress.com/boles

You can see some DARK tee-shirts Janna and I created to help celebrate Hand Jive!

Loved that "throw your computer" design!

I am in a perpetual state to throw my own computer out of the window these days! :D

That's exactly the phrase from the book, Katha! "I hate my computer so much I'm throwing it out the window!"

UPDATE:

We just added "Cardinal Red" tee shirts to our selections! Click on any black Tee and you can also see -- and buy! -- the shirt in red!

UPDATE:

1. I created some "URB swag" to the Urban Semiotic section of the Boles Stuff store at www.cafepress.com/boles

2. I also added a 2007 BOLES STUFF calendar with all my logos and other goodies in the in the BOLES STUFF area so you can "Think Boles" all throughout the year!

Note: "Dark Shirts" now include "Black" and "Cardinal" and you can pick either color when you click to view a "Dark Shirt."
