google apps are great if you aer at a PC. Not so great if you have a Windows Mobile smart phone. I can't get my online calendar to sync with my Windows Mobile smart phone.

Why can't you use your Windows Mobile smart phone web browser and point it to http://calendar.google.com or calendar.YOURDOMAIN.com and interact with your calendar that way? Then you don't have to futz with syncing anything.
