Picture Yourself Learning Microsoft Office 2008 for Mac

I am delighted and honored to announce my latest book -- Picture Yourself Learning Microsoft Office 2008 for Mac -- is now published and available for purchase everywhere outstanding books are sold!

Picture Yourself Learning Microsoft Office 2008 for Mac uses full color images on every page, and an immersive teaching technique, to help you through the learning curve of finding out what's new  -- and how you can best use it all -- in Office for Mac 2008.

Together, we will learn how to use Word 2008 to create outstanding publications like posters, announcements and good-looking documents.  Excel 2008 is re-formulated to make entering information and creating charts a simple and delightful process.  PowerPoint 2008 is even more stunning as the World's Most Popular presentation program.  Entourage is better and stronger in parsing your mail, managing your schedule and tracking your To Dos.

As you may remember, Picture Yourself Learning Microsoft Office 2008 for Mac is the fourth book I wrote in five months for Thomson/Cengage publishing and the entire writing and editing process was rewarding and historic.

In case you missed the previous book announcements, here are the other three books I wrote over the last few months -- and I'm sure you'll enjoy reading them, too!

Thanks for your ongoing support and I will have fresh book projects and new writing missions to share with you here in the future!

Big congrats! I know you worked hard on all four books and they all look great and are fun to read.

I appreciate your kind support, Janna, and I thank you for your help and patience during the writing of all those books!

The ASL book is my favorite. Ha ha.

I love the ASL book, too, Janna. It was so much fun to write it with you! SMILE!

good look on the book. i like the cover. i will have to go buy it today.

Thanks, arin! If you need help, you know where to find me.

David,

The book is an excellent guide to getting the most out of Office. I hardly ever use Office on my Vaio anymore because the one on the mac is so superior and I know it a lot better thanks to your easy to use guide! :)

I appreciate your Tech Edit of the book, Gordon! You helped make it better with your feedback and keen analysis. You're right the Mac version of Office is much better than the Windows version. Make sure you check your Mac AutoUpdate for Office 2008 -- there's a big and good update there waiting for you from MSFT!

My AutoUpdate works about once a week and it caught it yesterday while I was working - quite a huge update! :)

Congratulations David! One more worthy addition to the Picture Yourself series!

I'm so glad you have the update, Gordon! I was getting all sorts of terrible, hard, crashes with the released version. Things are, so far, a bit better.

Thanks, Dananjay! It did feel for awhile like I was writing all the "Picture Yourself" books! SMILE! It's interesting how different the covers are even though they are all in the same book series.

David! Yes! It's nice that the books are linked by purpose and not just by surface similarity.

That's it, Dananjay! They have a through-spirit that shines from pages! SMILE!

I muddle my way through all this computer stuff and its comforting to have you around!

I'm glad you're enjoying success with these wonderfully appealing books! You're obviously very passionate about all this techie stuff--

Very pretty, too. And knowing how persnickety you are, I'm sure the information and its presentation is first rate.

Heartiest Congratulations on your accomplishments David!

Thanks, Donna! I am always here for you if you need help. I love writing "beginning learner" books because you can have more fun and bring people into a new understanding they never before mastered.

I'm taking "persnickety" as a compliment! SMILE!

That you, my lovely Katha! Your support means the world to me!
